18x7.5 with 36 mm offset?

How is this going to fit? Found the wheels I want and there is a $70 difference per wheel between 36 mm offset and 42 mm offset.

I have a choice between:
18 x 7.5 w/ 36mm offset @ 16 lbs
17 x 7    w/ 36mm offset @ 13.4 lbs

I am lowering the car very soon with the eibach pro-kit springs, so not sure if I want to stick with 17's or move up to 18's.

Oh, and I'm not linking the wheels since they are on close-out and I don't want them sold out before I decide =P
