Reset your trip odo when you get gas. Go drive around for a while. When you get gas again, divide the miles on your trip odometer by how much gas it just took to fill your tank back up.

that can be highly inaccurate, though. people have gotten theirs to say 99mpg before
i just always fill the tank all the way up, and reset the trip. next time i get gas i divide what the trip odo says by the gallons and wala!

yea mines usually wrong too btu sometimes its pretty accurate when i reset everything. I just fill up (without topping off) then drive and drive to wherever and when i refill i divide the miles i drove by the gallons i filled up (without topping off). that's probbaly the most accurate way.. and longest but it works
