i was curious if there was a difference.  i did an oil change using amsoil full synthetic but i had a small leak and ended up need 1Q of oil so i used pennzoil 10w-30 full syn with the amsoil 10w-40 motorcycle oil.

Re: Engine Longevity Package

if your bike has a wet style clutch you dont want to use oil thats for a car, there is somethin specifically in car oils (Molybdenum) that breaks down the clutch... or somethin like that.

Hi Pitt
As you know ,Motorcycles use totally different oil packages [wet clutches] and there is even a difference between the oil we would recommend for a Ducati or Harley versus  a Honda 4 or Kawasaki
We even have oils for two stroke off road entertainment.

Please pm for motorcycle oils
Please be specific, for example:

1971 Greeves griffon moto-cross
380cc two stroke uses premix

Best Regards,
Dragonfly

Hi Major;
In your car or bike?
assumming we are talking about motorcycles
the pennzoil was ok to use if it was designed for wet clutches. [pennzoil motorcycle oil, not car oil]
if so
there is no danger in doing that ,it wont damage your motor, but it will dilute the effects of the longer lasting oil you paid for.

Hello Runwithaknife

I like to change my oil after every other race day and I use the good stuff they are selling [since I came on board]
Drives dragonfly crazy

There is a slight advantage to the 0w-30 oil on cold start up

I have yet to use the oil analysis kit, trying to get a printout of what comes back
I like the oil, but have no way of comparing it to the mobil-1 I was using.
There are some oil comparison charts posted on this site .I will try to find them.

They have some remote filters and prestart lubrication devices that look good too.

Thanks for checking us out

I will be mostly responding to replies here till my car is done
Barry
