I don't mean to hate, we know we have a pretty bad brake system but, I can't say that it could be your driving habits.

Ok so I have some great news for all of you spec v 07+ owners. I called Nissan 1-800-647-7261 op 7 then op 4. I talked to a guy named Russell (very nice guy) his extension is 47109. I talked to him about my front rotors and my transmission. He told me if the dealership dose not want to fix this problems this is when we step in. He made me tell him what problems i was having and when it started to happen. He made a case number for me and told me that in a week or two i will have some one call me from corp nissian usa to get this problem resolved. He told me if they dont call, to call him back in two weeks. He also told me about the recall on the car and he said that will be taken care of as well. This is GREAT news i hope this all works out.
stitch u could say its my driving habits but i can say also that are rotors r 12.6inc they should not just warp like they did that is a over size rotor.

OK so i got more news about the brake rotors. Nissan called me yesterday i was sleeping and i did not pick up my phone. left me a mesg, then today i get a call from my dealership the manger saying he got a call from nissan and that he would like to get my car in there shop to get the brakes resurfaced. I am going to call nissan and tell them that i would like to have a closer dealership take care of this problem bc i dont like to drive a hour to that dealership and that i would like new rotors not for them to be resurfaced bc they will just warp agian. lets see what happens.

Nissan's OEM blanks have been crap for YEARS. I'm CONSTANTLY warping rotors on my car after abusing them. This is with Cryo-Treated Powerslots (which, ironically are made from OEM blanks). It's about the cheap iron they're using. It gets hot too fast and warps the rotors far too easily. Brake options are pretty thin for you guys right now though, you might be stuck with the stock stuff for a while yet. Good luck man.

Yeah, if they resurface the rotors, they will warp again and faster this time because they're thinner.

I've warped mine twice as well. They have been resurfaced twice. I can already feel them starting to warp again. I would like to get a pair of Drilled/Slotted that I don't have to pay an arm/leg for. I drive 40 miles for work each day over 2 mountains and people don't know how just to get in the car and press the gas. They're married to the brake. The mountains aren't MOUNTAINS but they have a fun downside :-)

When you get your new rotors, get some of these. It should help with your problem
