i shouldve listened to everyone when they told me how much of a worthless POS purple unreliable fukin box it really is. the nitrous solenoid failed on me already! and its only been through its first fill on a brand new kit. i checked for anything clogging the jet but its the box itself that only shoots fuel. im guna see if perhaps i can free up the solenoid with some WD40 or take it apart tomarrow

i had a zex kit on my built b16 civic, except the gas solenoid stuck closed while i was spraying a 125 shot so needless to say i had some burnt valves. would never buy one again

Sorry to hear that man
Like I've said before (hopefully this time I wont get called out by a mod for stating my opinion!!) Zex=shit!

new. i checked for clogged lines and such, but now it works. it just shows u how unreliable it really is. its probably just as easy for the fuel part to fail and shoot a 75 dry shot

Lucky it wasn't the fuel.
I tell people not to buy Zex for a reason, nitrous for dummies.

if you are worried about it get a wideband so if you see an extremely lean/rich occasion you can immediately let off.

lol idk about genious but ive used a wideband along with other safety precautions, such as fuel pressure switches and shit like that. its just a fact that solenoids fail, with any brand kit you have, and could potentially cause damage. you wouldnt want to run a turbo without guages or some kind of safety precautions, would you? no.. same concept.

That is why you build your own kit and wire it yourself so that way you know how it works and can diagnose the problem yourself... I <3 my Franken-kit!!!!

ill have an extra neo in a couple weeks. i can sell it to you if u'd like.
and you can get a wideband (aem UEGO, like mine, idk if you saw it already) for like 240 shipped from jeff (majormods)

I agree with the pitt, running nitrous blind = retarded; regardless of what brand it is. NOS can = engine dynamite if not properly done. Proper equipment /precautions vs a potentially inconvenient rebuild or walking? I'll take my time and do it right; with the proper equipment and precautions taken.

fyi dynotune has a afr switch that will shut off your system in a rich/lean condition. i dont know anyone that has used it but its somethin i would lookin into.

I think, I may be buying the dynotune 1 just to be extra safe along with a progressive controller...that way if anything goes wrong it will stop...hopefully lol
