Re: not too many spec Vs

I think I read that about 1 in 10 Sentra's is an SE-R and about half of those are Spec Vs.  So if true that puts it 5% of those made.

Re: not too many spec Vs

I've still yet to see a Spec on the road around here. I've seen a yellow SE-R that had this chick with crazy-colored hair and that's about it.

Tpops on here lives about 10 minutes from me and I never see him other than when the St. Louis crowd meets up.

Re: not too many spec Vs

I've seen a few, blue one in my town, theres a silver one that is driven by a 60 y/o woman. Another silver one in deptford with overlays it looks like, and a yellow se-r at telford inn, which was the reason I went and researched it smiley-smile and then theres another black spec v driven by a girl. I've seen a few jut driving. They are rare occassions though.

Re: not too many spec Vs

I've seen quite a few here and there, here in Jacksonville/Orange Park area.  But not alot of younger people driving them though.  There are a few and I've tried to stop them and let them know about MSV, too.  Even the 02-06 Specs, I've tried to inform them, too, but they aren't trying to hook up and chill.  One guy that works in the same building as I do, here on the Naval base, has an 03 Spec and I told him about it and he was like, "I'm not into all that, man." smiley-surprise  smiley-eek  smiley-ohmy  smiley-wacko  I was thinking like, "Are you Fin kiddin me?!  You drive a Spec V and you aren't into the style of it, the look of it, the performance of it?!?!?!?  Give me that freakin car, you don't deserve it, old man."  smiley-mad2  smiley-bandwagon  smiley-beatbat  smiley-doh

Re: not too many spec Vs

I see 2.0 Sentra's everywhere.  1 of my best friends has one, there are about 11 on my block, seriously.  Mostly older couples have them here.  Except for this Brunette Bombshell i saw at the wamu in oakdale.  Damnnnn, is all i can say.  still a 2.0 though.  Tommymel is near me, but i have not actually met him or seen his car.  One of my good customers i met at a flowerfield car show has the Spec v, magnetic grey like mine.  I see him in a while.  seen a magestic Blue SE-R at Avenue Sound and at the LiTuners meet.    Very few SE-Rs and Spec V's, but i see 2.0s more then i see honda's, which is amazing for my area.

Quiet you, Im pretty.

Re: not too many spec Vs

When I've shopped on Autozone.com i put in 04 Sentre SER 2.5 SOHC and the percentage comes back with 12% of sentras in U.S. are either SER or SPEC-V so theres not alot of them out there, But in Washington State there are 5 or 6 of us pretty close together. Being unique is awesome IMHO. We gotta stick together We are an MSV Family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: not too many spec Vs

I live in Northern Cali and have only seen 4.

One guy is a judge and owns one, a Blue one. I know this because his 2006 Spec he traded in, my brother bought lol.
I saw one parked in front of a Chevy's restaurant one day and last week I was in Monterey and pulled up behind an old lady driving one, same Silver color as mine. 2 weeks prior a guy in a Grey one past me on the freeway.

You definitely don't see them on the road anywhere.

Re: not too many spec Vs

The only other B16 in this area is my friends who bought it at the same time I did, so we could get a deal.  I had some guy in a red Sentra pull up to me at a light and tell me he loved the blue.  I didn't see if his was a Spec or not and I haven't seen him since.  There is one red B15 spec where I work, don't know the guy, and one blue one somewhere around where I work.  I think a chick drives it, I have only seen it about three times.

I know my buddies and my Spec are the only two our Nissan dealership has ever had on the lot.

Re: not too many spec Vs

Here I've seen quite a few SER's but not a lot of Sec V's of the B16 platform. From what I've heard from my other friends is that they have seen a black, silver and red one. So only 4 specs in a city of +1MM? I feel alone out here smiley-tumbleweed

Re: not too many spec Vs

only 31,000 Spec Vs were sold between 2002-2006... so that can kinda tell you how rare the B16 ones are...

There are a shit load in my area. People talk about how uncommon specs are, but there are 2 to every civic SI, in this area. I've still yet to see a civic SI coupe, besides a dealership.

Re: not too many spec Vs

Interesting, I live in suburbs of DFW,  Not many specv's. at least in my part of town.  There is a red one around lewisville.  I see plenty of SI's so there are at least more popular.   I just liked the styling on the specv more.  My wife drives an 06 civic EX.  I like both cars alot.  You have to admit its pretty cool to drive the uncommon one though.  You can catch alot of guys sleepin at the lights.

Re: not too many spec Vs

there's some really hot chicks that live in my appartments that just got an 08 blue spec.  Everytime i remember to go leave a note to join myspecv the car is gone or driving off.  then other times when i do see it I'm already running late for work.  From what i can tell they're really not gonna be the type to wanna join a forum about cars.  Some guy told me they only bought it because they liked my car.
