front rotors

I was searching around trying to find a cheaper alternative for brake rotors for our cars. Well i found one site with these..... http://brakeperformance.com/site/brake_ … p;ad=yahoo

But the guy says that they are like 11 inches and some change. That must be for the 2.0 i am guessing? Anyone find any drilled and slotted for less price then stealin.com? (stillen.com)

Re: front rotors

I can't tell enough people......you don't want drilled rotors.  They dissipate SOO much heat, that the rotors never come into optimal braking temperature.  Thus making brakeing WORSE.  Look for slotted only for the best braking.

Edit: I don't think they make aftermarket rotors for your cars yet.

AND, OEM drilled rotors tend to crack.

Re: front rotors

now if you go with a nice 2 piece rotor set up.

that are engineered to be drilled/slotted and withstand hard braking.

you are much better off.

i admit it was fairly stupid not getting just slotted when i get the racing pads.

take over 5 minutes to heat up smiley-sad

but after that god damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they brake hard lol.
