Re: random buttttt

I've never listened to the rockford audio in the B15's.

I'm not a big sound guy, but for a stock system I think this is really way more than is necessary, numerous people who are into sound have claimed they thought I had a much higher end system.

Windows down highway speeds, music at 16-18 is plenty for me, I think the audio goes up to 30 or 40, Mine is plenty loud below 20 though.

For 18.5k power, economy, rarity, price, fun factor, sound, and (looks are questionable) I like them though. You can't go wrong.

Re: random buttttt

I can't compare to the 06, but I think the stock ones sound pretty good. They put out a decent amount of bass, and I don't have the subwoofer. I have no intention of upgrading the system.

Re: random buttttt

I have the rockfordfosgate ones in my Se-r and i love them.  They sound good with any kind of music.  I have a friend who is a sound buff and he loved it he thought it was something higher than it was

Re: random buttttt

The stock rockford audio uses 2 sub's lol. They're the ones in the back, either 8 or 10 inch subs I don't recall of the top of my head, nothing drastic but more than plenty for me.

Re: random buttttt

They are 8" two ways.  The system is great for a factory one.  The two 8" work great for rock music and do fine with most of the little hip-hop/electronic music I listen too.  I have a few songs where the bass could benefit from better/amped speakers.  As for the treble end of things, it's great.  I have heard some clipping but that's just from the MP3 encode I believe.

Re: random buttttt

I don't even have the rockford fosgate ones, and I think it still sounds pretty damn good for stock.

Re: random buttttt

Compared to the stock system in my 05, the Rockford fosgate in the '08 blows it out of the water.  I really like the way it sounds with the right CD at around 14-15 volume.
