ram intake solution
keep in mind, im new to this, but i was thinking how people think short ram intakes can actually take away from horsepower because they take in hot air from the engine, but what if you put the stock intake cover over it? would that work, or am i completly rediculous? im pretty sure im rediculous

It's been done and mates right up to the filter. I don't really xconsider it much of a ram air, more like extended short ram or SRI and a 1/2. i think Jbarbaresi did this. but he's not on here much at all anymore.

I was going to do that but with the new air boxes (stock) its just a panal filter that slides in and out, not the old skol boxes that open into 2 pieces. I was going to use the short ram w/ the factory box surounding it..... but that was my old honda thinking..
