Re: head unit?

if you take it out you lose your HUD i don't know how important that is to you. but what do you plan on running? sub? amps? if you are planning to do a simple system and don't want to tune it too much, without losing your display, you might want to get a line level-input, add a four/five channel amplifier and get new speakers. speakers imo won't make a difference unless they are amped

Re: head unit?

that is something that is totally up to you, you can get an after market head unit like a pioneer or alpine one that will give you better output than your stock one, but it will also affect the way your dash looks like from stock. Personally I would go for new speaker and then If I would like a little bit of more power coming out from the head unit i will go ahead and replace it too. my .02
