Knock Levels?

I'm using SAFC-II

I'm alil worried about my knock levels in my tune. When it's sitting idle after its warmed up it sits around 2-4.. That I'm not worried about..

But when I'm at WOT. Near the redline the knock is spiking up into the low 100s and back down to the 30-40s over and over... I'm running a turbocharger as well as the LM-2 Datalogger. And the current is 11 AFR @ 9psi the whole way. Is this acceptable? Or should I richen it up alil?

Re: Knock Levels?

100s is NOT COOL. Fix it. Have you recalibrated your knock setting on the safc2 lately. I do mine every other day or so to keep it accurate to weather changes and stuff like that. 2-4 at idle is norm.

Re: Knock Levels?

PMIdude. Have you ever calibrated your knock level on the safc2? If no thats why it shows 0 all the time.

Re: Knock Levels?

Yea I've not tuned the Knock on the SAFC in a helluva long time. I'll give that a go.

Re: Knock Levels?

i get like 20-30 when its hot out, even into 40, at idle.  when im not at idle, the knock goes down to 0-7 typically.  i know racing, ive hit the 150's, maybe a little more but yeah pretty much, its all good.  no audible knock and i assume its a sensitive sensor.
