i really dont know much about nitrous cams but if anyone does, speak up! what do you think.. 2 intake cam swap or leave em stock? which will make more hp on the bottle? not really worried about torque cause you get PLENTY of it on the bottle. i work with a guy thatll sell me a new wet kit for $100 and also have a set of stock cams, so should i put the cam in or sell it to a turbo guy?"

Ok basically what i gathered is you want longer duration and higher lift in the exhaust side. When using nitrous you add almost 50% more spent exhaust gasses then NA. So using the stock intake cam in the exhaust position will help this but i dont entirely understand about the cam timing. I know Big J was talking about using 5 or 6 teeth but idk how to interpret that for nitrous use. Idk why but ive always found cams to be kinda confusing so im having difficulty researching this, any input would be appreciated guys.

I dont think there's such things as nitrous cams. Well, not that I know of anyway. your theory mght work. It seems like a good idea. Try it out. See what it does.
Good luck

they do make nitrous specific cams, obviously not for our car. sometimes youll actually lose power NA but as soon as you hit the nitrous youll get an even better jump in HP.

very well then. If you say they do, I guess they do. I know they make nitrous pistons tho

I have JWT cams and am running a 75 shot. I haven't dynoed it yet but it "feels" like it pulls stronger after the cam install during spray. I had juice before the cams. I plan on hitting the dyno once it drops below 100° here in AZ.

your right about the longer duration and lift. But remember about cams, the higher the duration the more you will lose on tq (but u mention u dont car about tq while on the bottle). The duration moves the curve more uptop for topend which the nitrous is good for, just stay above 4krpms when spraying you'll get the best out of it.

Matt, Nismo cams work good with n2o. Friend used them while on n2o with very good results, kinda pricey though.
Only cam/n2o experiance that I know will work good together.
