maybe i missed something in the manual, but when i have my cd changer on mix-disc, and i skip a track, it doesnt skip to the next random track, it just skips to the next track on the disc that is currently playing...
is this the way it is, or am i just pushing the wrong buttons? if thats the way it is, well, that seriously sucks. enough to warrant replacing my deck with something aftermarket.

That's how it works. That has been an annoyance from me for a while. When I want to hear a different artist and the only way to have go to the next song randomly is to take it out of mix and put it back. Also, am I just stupid or is there no pause button anywhere for the 6cd changer? I guess the power button = pause button?

Yup the next just goes to next song and not a random song. I FUCKING HATE IT! and the only way I can figure out to get it off of random is either change the disc its reading or push the tune back button to make it start the CD over. Sooo annoying

That's why I just use my iPod most of the time. Get a long enough Aux cord that it sits flat on the rubber mat in the front of the center console, perfect spot for it so I can just click next when I want a new random song. I have one MP3 cd sitting in my disc changer for those occasions that I forget/don't charge my iPod.

Ture that I usually just plug the Zune in.

To get to the next song you have to hold the seek button till the end of the song to get it to the next one. Well that's what I do at least. Annoying I know.
Yup definetely no pause button, which is odd. Anyone else had trouble with mp3's? Put one in the other day adn it only played 20 of the 100+ songs on there....Maybe I'm just technologically illiterate?

hmm i havent experienced this problem, i tried out the shuffle mix mode once and it changed a cd after every track, it did not stay on the same cd. Anon which software are u using to burn ur mp3? maybe ur burning under the wrong settings. Or ur mp3 player is being biased haha
