Radiator hose question

I called my local Nissan dealer to check the price on a new upper radiator hose, they told me $10 and it had to be ordered.  I asked him if they changed the design so the hood prop wouldn't put a dimple in it and he said that the part# changed so they may have but there wasn't a picture to verify.  Does anyone know?

I was thinking about just ordering an OBX or the Gates racing set on ebay, any opinions or should I just get a factory replacement?  Do they make some sort of sleeve to put over it to protect from the hood prop?

I too replace my upper radiator hose due to a dimple.  Yes, there is a 1/4" thick band of rubber, 1" wide, where the dimple used to be.

Re: Radiator hose question

I bought that new hose and it still dimples, I raised the hood stops a little but I think it's still rubbing the hose.  if you order the racing ones post results.
