that's it folks, no magic !

They actually make you assemble the pcb...Why?

the harness made for darsondris with a 12pin molex connector for easy connected/disconnect
the loop goes to a diode board, 4 blue unlabeled wires are tapped into the ignition signals
since the injector wires are CUT, this little pigtail gets put in on the ecu side of the injector wires, so be able to revert back to stock ecu should you chose to do so:

they dont MAKE you its just cheaper. Gurov is that before or after you filed down the board to fit?

yeah, it's before i filed it.
the assmebled boards about 240 for 2.2 motherboard, 330 for 3.0 motherboard, and 350 for 3.57 motherboard.
kit is 140 for 2.2 motherboard, 180 for 3.0 motherboard + satisfaction of knowing wtf you're doing with your engine management .

3.0 pcb here:
barometer attached to the back of the 3.0 board. 2.5 bar map sensor.

emspro, inside, when i had to rewire 700 dollar's standalone's tach input system:
stock optoisolator:
their map sensor, they kinda fucked up and broke the requirements of the msns code, main map sensor is 4 bar, barometer next to it is 1 bar (square with the tube is main, square with hole is barometer)
bottom left of the main cpu, there's a big solder pad, that's the main IRQ for the motorolla chip, the solder par was very convinient:
building the optoisolator circuit that understands the nissan sensor:
attached, they provided a +5 and ground on huge pins in the top left, white/blue wire in the top right is going to the back of the board to the tach input from the harness
all packaged back up with the stupid metal thing removed:
beefy connector:

v3.0 motherboard, this is my black-cased ms1, the stuff on the proto board is an extra optoisolator for a 2nd trigger while i was trying to get it to recognize our sensors, the two silver transistors are for driving ignition coils in waste spark, they're ran off the very top and very bottom leds, with MSNS it works out well, they are D14 and D16
my jimstim that burnt out its own cpu, so i lost the wheel generator:
old test bench:
the signal generator
the signal produced

building 3.0 motherboard:
spare ports, bottom right, spr1 - 4:
more spare ports on the back, IAC (idle air stepper motor)
proto area, bottom left, decent amount of space for building other crap, and you get 5v and ground pins
different mounting for the map sensor, the hosebarb sticks out of the case, kinda sorta, so you put a vacuum line straight to it, you can also all the labels on the CPU pins,, they're all in the manual as to what they all do.
black case:

3.0 motherboard, this is my megasquirt 2 box with a 4 bar map sensor upgrade, this is the mapdaddy sensor upgrade, you get two sensors, 1 main, and 1 barometer, both are 4 bar, one wire hookup for the barometer to the CPU
notice the much smaller ms2 cpu on the board, surrounded by other chips, it's a straight up upgrade, pop one processor out, put another one, connect 12v to a pin:
the back, you can see the mapdaddy upgrade wire for the barometer, and the 12v hookup for the ms2:
this is what you get if you order the 12' harness, a sealed connector. which kinda sucks cause you can't add wires to it, i just used the wires from the 12' harness
assembling the harness:
just got done building the motherboard, this was a while ago:
yet again, no magic here, i think i'm done for now. if someone wants further pictures, you're going to have to be very specific about the stuff you want

4 total so far. modified one ems-pro box.
ms2 3.0 board - 4 map with baro
ms1 3.0 board - 2.5 map with baro
ms1 2.2 board - 2.5 bar <-- runs my car right now
ms1 2.2 board - 2.5 bar + boost control + launch + fan + alky trigger = darsondris , ran my car on this and tuned quite a bit on it. being sent out tomorrow

I'm unsure on launch control right now. I want to see exactly how it works in action. Basically, you flip a switch with the clutch depressed and in 1st gear, and the rpms go to 2k or so. Then when you release the clutch, the throttle modification stops? Just making sure I'm not thinking stupid.
Alky trigger was pretty simple huh? The boost trigger that came with the enginerunup kit has managed to work it's way down from 9psi to 5psi. It now comes on when I have the EBC turned off. I keep loosing the damned tiny ass alan key.
How is the control for the fans? You just set a temp on/off? Can it control both the hi/low fan settings?
-JNY
launch control:
flip an arming switch, push down clutch, floor the gas, rpm goes to 3000 rpm, keep gas pedal down, launch, don't let clutch go out all the way, 3000 rpm limit still on. keep gas pedal down, go to redline, keep gas pedal down, keep gas pedal down, press clutch in, rpm goes to flatshift rpm, keep gas pedal down, put into next gear, release clutch, keep gas pedal down, rpm goes to redline, keep gas pedal down, push clutch in, rpm goes to flatshift rpm, next gear, repeat etc.
i think i'll have a huge problem with the "keep gas pedal down" bit
alky trigger is just "output 2" which is generic relay switch off whatever variable
fan control has builtin hysterisis control, on temp and off temp, it grounds a wire, so you just hook the stock fan relay to the MS and go.

i always kepp the gas down.. why would you life shift. that is for gynes.. lol

cause this will have a 2nd rev limiter that doesn't abuse the shit out of your clutch, gears, engine. etc.

holy shit g i have a whole new respect for you now. i rememebr back in college we had to make a am radio and i thought that was hard this is like 1000x more insane. mad props. i tip my hat to you sir and please keep up the good work

pics of the auxilary output board i made:
two big transistors are the for driving PWM outputs, one labeled B is for boost control, to the left of it is the water injection valve/nitrous valve
top left is the input for map switching.
bottom row from left to right
shiftlight, shiftlight, output4 (FAN with water injection enabled), output3 (generic output with shutoff delay)
back of the prototype board, the two long busses are ground (middle), and +12v (top)
the socket has to be cut to allow for all the outputs to be brought up topside:

That doesn't have anything to do with cars. It's a time machine. Or maybe it is a flux capacitor soooo the car is the time machine. lol looks great though.

wanna know what a flux capacitor is? Its a toilet. you think I am joking flux= shit, capacitor = a storage device (that later dumps what it stores into something else) = a toilet
