Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knew if the qr25 and qg18 share the same engine and transmission mounts? My buddy has a wrecked spec-v just sitting around in his driveway and his brother and I got to thinking that maybe nissan made the b15 with the same mounts to save on costs. If so then I could possibly just throw the qr into my 1.8 since it'd share the same mounts. If anyone could shed some light on this that'd be great. Thanks.

I dont believe that the crossmembers are the same, but it could be done, youll need a LOT of donor parts from that Spec V to make it work. Not to mention the electrical work. I dont even want to think about that!
Time is the only thing you will need, plus a tad bit of cash for misc stuff. That is if everything in the front of the donor spec v is intact.

The cross member is definitely different. I am not sure about the side mounts I have never seen QG18 engine bay in person.
It could work, you would probably need these parts from specv; cross member, engine harness, ecu, engine, transmission,
Can you do fabrication work? The holes for the side mounts might be off few inches or so...
There is only one way to find out...
I would try test fitting the cross member first and see if the mounting holes line up.

There would be a decent amount to change to get the engine running... right down to the gas pedal...
But could be a fun project

should be ok. The only reason my bro couldn't get the car fixed is cause he had just switched the car to liability cause of various reasons and unfortunetly some beener w/o a license, insurance, and being an illegal hit him. The damage was about 9k and still fixable but it would've been out of my bro's own pocket and he couldn't afford it.
