Possible Header

i know a guy who does some work for a company called Slow Motion Motorsports.  He said that they would probably be able to fab something up for us.  They work on imports and make some really nice stuff.  Just putting the idea out there to see how many ppl would be interested before anything is done.

Re: Possible Header

Well, we do have Megan and API coming out with a header for us.  I don't know if it would benefit another company to join the race.  If he starts his own fresh R&D, he will more than likely come in last place in the race to the shelves.  In order to survive that, he would have to have an excellent price on his piece.

It would be nice to have options but, I don't see him beating out Megan or API.  It probably wouldn't benefit him to produce one for us.  That's just what I think.

Re: Possible Header

API was testing the header on a members car within the last few days. Not trying to knock the idea of another header..but it would be nice to support a company already developing a header for the car.

Re: Possible Header

exactly.

just let it be known, gavin is a certified engineer, made the first sts twin turbo z06 vette pass the nasty CARB regulated smog test at the state referee, because of him the kit is now CARB legal.

and there has been delays with making this header possible.

Re: Possible Header

I trust that Megan and API will get the product out.  Like Rak said, I'm sure there is a lot more involved here than people think.  He said API is on step 3 of solving the CEL issue that everyone wanted fixed.  Because they are trying to get the product like we want it, we shouldn't complain so much about delays.  I want the product.  I'm going to buy the product.  However, I'm not in a rush to blow my money!  Heh.  I can wait until everything is resolved.  It will be that much better when it's released.

Re: Possible Header

I kno myself aswell as many others made a big deal about the CEL with rako and api. If there going to tackle it because we dont want a CEL then that means I have a new found love for API. I'm waiting for the company thats looking out for our best interest, I suggest everybody does the same.
API FTW!!!!
