you know actually, i've heard several other people say their '04s were molten silver. so maybe nissan changed in '05?? i know my '05 se-r is brilliant alum and my '02 is molten silver. and molten silver > brilliant alum.

This is good info to have. I am trying to get my car painted next summer. I am thinking of a two tone black and volcanic orange (my two favorite colors for the specs) sorta like Todescengel's spec only with a slight fade between the colors instead of a hard line.

02-04 are Molten Silver
05-06 are Brilliant Aluminum
02-04 are Aztec Red
05-06 are Code Red
02-03 are Vibrant Blue
04 and 06 are Sapphire Blue
and 05's were only available in Black, Code Red, and Brilliant Aluminum

thats probably because its not paint. its colored plastic. u can try to get it color matched, but i doubt it'll look rite. paint matching non-painted services rarely turn out well.
