I picked up some h11's that are 10 watts more than stock, they dont melt or anything like that and i keep them on for long periods of time, but anything more than 10 wats more is iffy

Sirl: thats your new Rap name.. Hyper D

do you mean the actual bulb or the dimensions for the fog light housing?

the actual bulb. and also, what is the wattage of the stock bulb?
Offline

Blake

stock wattage is either 45 or 55W, like I said your safe for 10w over what stock is, I kno people on here have melted there shit by going to high in wattage
this is what you need

well it says 55w but then it also says 130?w so idk, double check. Basicly im contributing by letting you know you shouldnt be scared by the fact that there 10 watts more than oem.

Just got mine yesterday. Probably put them on this weekend. Kinda nervous though because of what the numbers say on the box, Wattage Draw 55, Wattage Output 80. Sure they won't overheat the housing? How has everyone's Nokya been?

Got it for 2 month...no problems for the moment:lol:

i don't remember where i ordered them from actually. it was a random site and i got them for like $25 shipped. now that my passenger bulb burnt out i went up to a local speed shop to get some new ones but they didn't have yellow, so i got the Nokya Stage II 7000K arctic whites and i already miss my Hyper Yellow bulbs. oh well guess I'm just gonna have to upgrade to 3000K HIDs for the fogs next. I wanna say the set i had was 80W and so is the new set i have. i think we have high temp ceramic harnesses compared to the B15s. like i said i had the yellow ones since like january or february and didn't have any melting harness issue, the bulb just burnt out, i think it got wet, i noticed whn i took it out that one of the prongs wasn't actually in place.

Don't know if this helps but i went to ebay as well and the company that was selling them was called Next Level Motoring. nlmotoring.com Instead of doing the ebay way, i just gave them a call and it worked fine. Just installed them today. Looks mean! However, the temperature output is very warm, or should i say hot, then again i'm just worrying too much about changing something on a brand new car. haha!

Has anyone had condensation problems on the inside of their fog light housing? Maybe i installed them wrong, but i'm pretty sure i did it correctly. I have condensation in my fog light housing. There is no rubber seal on the back of the bulb (like headlights) so no matter what, air does reach in the housing area and it is possible that condensation occurs...right? Maybe just weather?

i want to get those nokya bulbs for my fogs, but i went to look at it to see how they would be installed and im not sure. does the black cover around it pop off and then i do it throgh that? Or do i have to take the bumper up or something? because underneath theyre blocked too
Offline

You need to get under the car and take off the under tray. There's a bunch of clips holding it up, 12 or something like that. From there you can reach the housing.

I only took off like 3 or 4 clips form each side, pulled the black guard down some. twisted the the new oem bulb out, unhooked the oem bulb from the harness, replaced with new bulb, placed teh bulb into posistion and gave a 1/3 turn twist, replaced clips and repeat for other side. it may take a lil bit to geth new bulbs aligned in the holes jsut right but you'll get it and you'll see exactly what i mean.

oh,damn it,exactly what i ws afraid of, i had put on aftermarket headlights on my previous car and i accidentally broke some clips taking the bumper off, i hope that doesnt happen with this install when i decide to do it, but thank you
Offline

Jason

you don't have to take the bumper off at all. it's just some small clips that u need like a flathead screwdriver to pop off, they can be a bitch but not so much that you're really gonna be breaking anything.
