slicks 24.5x8x15 vs 26x6x15

I`m getting a new slicks and some people tellme that the 24.5 x8 are better, an some people that the 26x6 (usually used in the srt4 s) i want to know if some of you have tried any of these slicks, some experiences before i get some for my specv.

the 26" ones you cant roll on the street because they rubbed on a full lock turn.  if you only use them at the track, then go ahead.

not sure, whichever one came with the kit.  heavy duty but not sure the specs on it
