I finally got around to installing this boost gauge and controller so I figured I would write a quick review. First thought was no way that this is this eay to install just 4 wires? But it was Redo some vacuum lines and mount the boost seleniod (sp) run some wires through the firewall and mount the gauge and your done! This gauge is so accurate its crazy! In PSI say if you are running 8psi it will not just say 8psi it will be 8.23 or something to that range, Next thing is that this has a spring crack feature that you can adjust for a terribly fast spool or a nice gradual climb. The onboard boost sensor is good to 29psi (plenty if you ask me) and there is a 50psi external one for you crazy people out there. So I went out for a test and tune. I set the spring crack @ 5psi and did a pull, instantly went to 5.28psi and held strong all the way through redline, I turned the setting from 10 up to 35 (note this is not psi but duty cycle) I did another pull and got 8.47psi and a quite a few lean misfires. So I retune my AFC neo and get 8.41psi all the way to redline I set the duty cycle to 52 just to see and it ran 10.20psi with crazy wheelspin in 3rd..... and TONS of lean misfires (my stock fuel pump just cannot hold up.) So I turned the duty cycle down to 28 and am running 6.56psi until my walbro pump comes in.
Overall I give it 9 out of 10 The reason its not a 10 is because it was 280$. But honestly well worth the money, best turbo supporting mod that I have bought yet. I highly recommend this to everyone looking for an electronic boost controller. (I had the treadstone MBC and it was a POS compared to this)
I cant wait to get my fuel pump in and run 10psi.

sounds like it works good. I'll have to keep this one in mind.
Lifes to short to drive a shitty car, get in a Spec V-T

so worth it man, best way I have found to regulate boost.

Good to hear this review! I've had one of these waiting to be installed for a few months. I'm waiting to get my engine done before I put it on and raise the boost. Thanks for the info!!

I'm installing one of these on a friend's spec this weekend. The turbo will not be on his car this weekend so I can't comment on the boost control of the unit but I'll have the electronics wired. The solenoid they use for this unit is the same solenoid I believe that AEM sells for EMS systems. I sold over 120 of these same solenoids last year and had not one single complaint, and I personally run one in my car. They are very robust and if set right, control boost like a rock. Glad to see it worked out for you. For my friend, I wanted a boost gauge/controller anyway, so I figured this was the best way to go, especially when combined with a Uego gauge, it made a matching set.

I've heard of ppl having problems with the Uego, that it isn't very accurate....Let us know how the one your friend has works out...

the uego (from my expierience) is not very accurate. My friend dan had one on his 600+WHP GTR35 eclipse GSX. When his uego was reading 11.8 the dyno's wideband sensor was reading 12.5 its not a HUGE differance but still those 6+ points can mean running way to lean to where cylinder temps are getting too hot. He bought an innovate afterwards and it was dead on. I personally run zietronix and it was dead on to the dynos wideband, and no calibrating is awesome.

seems about on par. tho my duty cycle due to where im located and the weather blah blah is 40% or something stupid like that for 8.5-8.99psi (yes ik, it changes with the weather.)
i give it a 8.5-10.

Good Review....Im thinking of getting either this or a manual boost controller with a Defi gauge not sure but 2 for the price of one is kinda tempting.....
