So I backed out of my friends driveway with my car running and pressed on the gas and nothing happened. so i took it to auto zone because my service engine light of doom showed up and they said it was the throttle positioning sensor on my car went out. but i havent been able to find one yet. besides that how hard would it be to change it out myself. if anyone can let me know that would be great.

if you reset it, does the light come back ?
to replace the throttle body it's 4 bolts, they're hex, and one connector
expect to pay a lot for a throttle body. the throttle position sensor is integrated into it

if his pedal dies, somethings deff worn out lol. the fords that the pedal dies, we have towed in, as the tb's have been known to go WOT out of no where.

I had my TPS go out; went out the same way yours did. Took it to the dealer, and they replaced it under warranty (even with my intake!). Of course, you better be willing to give up your car for like, 4-5 days because it takes them FOREVER to do a damn thing.
