planning my first tune up

Hello all!

I just got an '04 black Spec. I am planning to do a tune up this weekend and would like some help on what I'll be needing. I don't really know much about cars so this is gonna be a first for me. My Spec has 77k miles (i know thats high). i dont have a service history on it but there is a sticker on the windshield that says the next service should be at 80500 miles. I really dont know what was done to the car so I want cover all my bases and just do everything a car with that mileage should have done. The problem is that I dont know what that is. If anyone can list the things I need to take care of that would help a lot. I already know that I have to check the butterfly screws and that I have to get a header asap (I actually havent checked if that was done by the last owner yet). Any help would very appreciated.

Thanks~

Re: planning my first tune up

Plugs, tranny fluid, brake fluid, clutch fluid, power steering fluid, air filter, coolant flush....i'm sure there's more, but thats a starter.  A new battery might be in order also.

Re: planning my first tune up

Should i worry about spark plugs or replacing the cables? Also, are there any preferred brands or anything I should stick to? And thanks for the reply, btw.

Re: planning my first tune up

I do have 1 more question about the spark plugs... What does N/A applications mean? And is there a place that I can refer to where I familiarize myself with all the acronyms? I'm an IT guy and I feel completely out of place when letters are thrown around that I dont recognize. Thanks again for all the help.

Re: planning my first tune up

n/a is natural aspiration. which means no supercharger, no turbo, no blower, no nitrous etc. just basic intake and exhaust
