hey guys
k my turbo kit was all done installed and tuned.. been running for a few weeks now no problems... but im running 9lb boost all stock, when i hit it the car goes its just you feel little like hesitation in it. like your speeding but you feel something keeps trying to pull you back.. what can it be? by the way its 9lb boost all stock even my sparkplugs are stock...can that be the issue ?

well plugs could be a issue but i ran my kit with the stock plugs and never had a issue lol. It sounds like you are running a little rich. What does your wideband say?

plugs could be ONE of the problems

my last tune a month ago was all sweet... i dont have a wideband but im guessing i guess to rich or the plugs.. should i replace the plugs anyways ??? or stocks would last ?

i would replace the plugs anyways.... When i was boosted i had a wideband and adjusted my tune everyday so my plugs never took a beating. I would get one step colder plugs.

your prolly running a bit rich, which is why your hesitating and your stk plugs are prolly not liking the extra fuel, so get a wideband and step colder plugs (heat range 7 in ngk) and retune it

okay when it comes to plugs and gapping im a bit slow.. can u tell me exactly what to get please?
i heard of the wrx plugs (lfr6a-11) would these work ?

yea thats right but i think autozone/advanced auto go by the parts number 3672 for the lfr6a-11 one step colder plugs
the lfr7a-11's are 2 step colder plugs
the stock heat is lfr5a-11
also invest in a wideband.. its for your best interest esp. if you are tuned with an SAFC II which i am sure you are

I just went to the parts house and got a set of plugs for a SRT-4...It does sound like you are running rich, though...Do you have a wideband?? You need to check your afr's when you feel that hesitation, will probaly be high 9's- low 10's IF that's the problem. I didn't even have a wideband when I had this problem and I just pulled fuel from the graph(on the AFC) until I felt the studder go away. Pull it(meaning decrease) in small increments though. You REALLY need a wideband to do this(I know you hate hearing this if you don't have 1), and be able to tell if you're doing any good...or harm.

You really need to invest in a wideband. The tune can vastly drift thanks to the stock ECU... you can't just get tuned and expect things to stay on target.
