Is this only for forced induction?

Like the post says, just wondering because it sounds awesome and where I live i need all the help with knock i can get.

with higher compression motors (qr20de piston swap) you can use a small nozzle to keep det down.

how do you know you're actually knocking ?

it could work, you'd just have to tune it very precisely. the reason it works so well is due to the extreme temperatures seen in a turbo application. you've got a lot better chance at quenching the flame in an NA motor with 9.5:1 compression...
