Anybody having trouble with tire pressure monitor ?
About 3 days ago my tire pressure monitor turned on so i pumped my rear right tire and the other ones that needed air. The light turned off, after driving for 5 minutes the light turned back on, so yesterday i filled the tire again , the light turned off for a day and turned back on the next day. I checked the pressure they are all fine, i don't why the light keeps turning on.

Someone else had a very similar situation with their sensor light. I'll look for the thread.
I got rid of mine by slightly over-filling them... haven't seen it since.

have you brought your car to nissan on this issue? my tps light kept comin on after i had filled the tires to the specs when i first bought my car. brought it to nissan cause the light wouldnt go off and they reset it and hasnt done it in months and months. i think they know its a problem and reset the computer. just bring it there.

i have over filled it, it turns it off for about 3 hours and then it turns back on, its annoying. ill go take it to the dealer today to have it checked.

dude i had that problem with my car... it would flash for like 1 minute after start up and then stay put... had to go to the dealer to take it off but its back...

the TPMS on my car was doing the same thing about a week after i got the car. i just kept checking the tire pressure to make sure they were fine. i took it to the dealer for my first service and told them about it and they fixed it. that's been over a month now and it has not come on since.

For the first few months of owning my car the TPMS light would go on ALL THE TIME and I would have to refill the tires. They were always pretty much completely full so I was kinda pissed that Nissan would make the annoying light come on when any 1 of the tires would drop like .5 PSI.
But it turned out that there was a serious problem with my front-passenger side tire. It blew out when I was on the highway and I had to get it replaced.
I didn't take it to the dealer but instead bought some Kuhmo Ecstas. Get rid of the Continental Conti-shits that are on there. Haven't had a problem since.

2 weeks into mine and my TPMS light came on as well. Went to Shell to fill up the tires so i asked the attendant to borrow his gauge, he replies, "there's one on the hose already". We all know that it's crap so i fill up my tires according to the "gauge". Drove couple blocks to work with that weird feeling but the TPMS light went off. Let my car sit a couple of hours, ran to buy a gauge because my digital one sucks, and my tires were all about 50psi. Let the air loose and now i'm back in the game. Next test is on the way home from work to see if the light comes on. If so, taking your advice and heading to the dealership.

ive had my car since early march of 08 and i have had my light go off 5 different times and only 1 time was due to a low tire. and last night it came back on again and all four corners are correct and its really annoying especially since the dealer is almost an hour drive from here.. but theres nothing we can do about it. ....... TPMS= GAY
