Placed Spec V springs on the 1.8 SE

my bro acquired some SPec V struts/springs, looking at the struts, they were in worse condition than his stock ones, so we only swapped out the springs. Took about an hour, came out nicely, it feels SO much better, like my car now, the stiffere springs help our alot..

Re: Placed Spec V springs on the 1.8 SE

I swapped my old gxe springs/shocks for the spec-v units, and I can deffinitely say it lowered some. I would have to say almost an inch in front, and maybe half an inch in back smiley-smile...and the car handles and feels so much better now with the stiffer spring rates.

Re: Placed Spec V springs on the 1.8 SE

Yeah..it did NOT lower any...just made it stiffer..so I plan to get Nismo suspension for my own ride, I'd like it lowered

Re: Placed Spec V springs on the 1.8 SE

lighter = higher.. weight compresses the springs..

Re: Placed Spec V springs on the 1.8 SE

Oh I thought the hieght was determined by strut/spring combination.
