slicks 22x8 15

i have a mickey thompson slicks 22x8-15, i know the factory tires are 24"diameter, so the slicks are smaller, my question is if i`ll get a benefit from that in 1/4 mile drag race or i have to get 24.5x8-15 slicks? The shifting is not a problem for me at all.

I know, and your 1/4 mile time was good enough? What kind of clutch you have?

+1 On 636SPECMAN

But if you already have the 22's
what’s the harm in trying them?
They should be better than the drag radials
BUT
Travis I believe shredded them

Yesterday went to the track and the 22x8 slicks SUCKS, i did better time with my old drag radials , definetly i need a 24.5 x8.
I was spinning 1st,2nd and 3rd gears at 10 psi, when my drags were new worked much better than this slicks. The slicks are supposed not to spin at all!
