I just assumed that it was for members only as well.  Isn't there a system in place where if you don't input a username then the transaction is rejected when you try to buy the ticket?

Guys I'm going to put this out there. I have a legal entry from this email address for 2 tickets. I did chose them and I am at fault for not including the "members only" in the rules. You guys know i run clean raffles, and the last thing i think any of you guys want is some random person taking legal action against me for not giving them the prize they technically won. That would be real crappy. I'm looking into this now and i'll keep you posted.

roflmfao  quit bitching. you lost a raffle due to a technicality.  no where did it say it was for msv users only or only for spec v owners.  It's wasn't MSV that put the raffle on, it was a single person on a website.  get over it.

I would love it to be redrawn because I agree that it should go to a member for all the above reasons, but I do realize that it may not be possible because of the legal responsibility the "in charge" people have.  If it's going to put them in a pickle, I'd rather it not redrawn.

yea obviously ppl will get bent outta shape cuz they didnt win, thats a given...but its different when someone not even from this website wins it

I'd love to see it redrawn too and I understand that the guy would be pissed off and threaten to sue.  But as I pointed out earlier, you did have to put in your myspecv.com username to buy a raffle ticket.

I've already emailed him. And for the record this is a me issue. I take full responsibility for these raffles, and i want any and all questions directed to me. Any response I get from the Winner, i will personally forward to all said ticket purchasers.  Hopefully fella's he just hasn't registered yet. If he hasn't I will request him to do so, end of story. We can all congratulate him and have some cake.  Do me a favor and leave the Drama Llama in the barn for now. I ran the raffle out of the pure reasoning most of us are broke and all of us have dreams of winning a turbo, or suspension, or transmission upgrades. If people have real issues put yourselves in my shoes. I'm not happy about any drama happening. But I will rectify this and I'm going to tell you guys right now I'm 99.9% sure i'm not redrawing. I'd never do that to a person. I know Tweek, and the other winners are insanely happy that they won. I made this error by not outlining it in the rules this time around and i don't expect some random person who just shows up on the site at somepoint who finds a neat raffle and buys some tickets to go backlogging into the other raffles where i outlined it.
