honestly the 1.8 doesn't get huge gains, but if you wanna compete with the modded 2.5s, or anything else... boost son...boost

Like dilospec said... intake, header, exhaust... or there is the turbo option.

Welcome. I had an '00 GXE before my spec. Awesome car for gas millage, not so much for zoom zooming around. I would save your HP mod money (maybe get a CAI) and spend it on suspension/handling. My GXE was a sloppy beyotch compared to the spec handling wise. I think you would be much more satisfied going that route rather.
P.S. NO2 might be a cheap HP mod to look into....
