injen CAI install help/clarification <with pics>

If you look at the first two pictures, you can see the plastic from the fan slightly poking at the silicone tube of the intake. The second picture shows the silicone tube resting upon some metal piece. I was wondering if this was okay and would cause no issues, or if i somehow did the install wrong. I took pictures under the hood for now, because I dont feel like taking the bumper off ATM.

"some metal piece" lol. Thats the ecu. Mine sits there too. Try to put something between them. Like a thin piece of plastic so it doesn't rub.

Yeah it should be fine. Just put something between the two if your paranoid. The rubber on mine hasn't even began to show any signs of wear tho.

Re: injen CAI install help/clarification <with pics>

The black piping isnt over the fan at all. Its behind it a little, and the plastic barely touches the intake. I know it sits on top of the ECU, but i personally have had 0 problems with this setup, so im not gonna waste time by taking it apart just to move it half an inch or so.
