looks clean any more plans. Get a header and full cat back exhaust system with a c.a.i. a must for the header if you want to avoid the pre cat failure

I like it! Seems like you are off with a good start smiley-smile

I especially like the front license plate relocation mod... I see you used the stock bracket. How did you mount it to the bumper?

Re: SERProject/ 04' Blackout SE-R Spec V/Massachusetts

I used a leftover behind-the-grille mounting bracket from an Integra to mount the stock mount where it is, and then bolted the license plate to the stock mount.

Future plans right now are a trans fluid change with BG Syncromax, front rotors and pads, oil change, coolant flush, springs and a shorty header before the year is out. The only concern I have with a shorty header is with the secondary 02 sensor. Have people had fairly good success with the 02 spacer? I seen on Hondas they are hit or miss, but I figure it beats drilling the midpipe and welding a bung.

I also need to either source some 17" winter tires (pricey), or figure out a steel wheel option with winter tires on them. My mothers Spec V with Dunlop Graspics mounted on the stock 5-spokes is a tank in the snow, so I may want to duplicate that.

Thanks for the comments.

Re: SERProject/ 04' Blackout SE-R Spec V/Massachusetts

since you have an 04 model, the second 02 sensor is mounted on the midpipe. i have noticed that mainly 04 specs sometimes dont even need the o2 spacer and no cel is on. thats my case.

the spacer works more times than it doesnt for our cars. just browse craigslist for some 15" steelies and grab some 15" snow tires. thats what i did.

btw, if you are looking for pads, theres gonna be a gb on the local nyc forum. i have a friend planinng on getting in on the gb so i dont think they would mind shipping out to mass. its on nycsentras.com

Re: SERProject/ 04' Blackout SE-R Spec V/Massachusetts

Some updates for the car...

Changed the front rotors to some OE style Bendix rotors, and the pulsation went right away. I also threw on a set of Axxis Metalmaster Semi-metallic pads. I would've gone Hawk, but I've had a few sets on my Honda's and my mother has HPS's on her Spec, and they are dirty.

I ordered a set of Eibach Pro-kits, some yellow fogs and a couple quarts of BG syncroshift.

The next thing I'm on the lookout for is a decent lip for a good price. Any suggestions?

Haha, jesus. I love the Nismo lip, but $250 for a front lip seems a bit outrageous when I could be spending it on the suspension.
