Will an Injen CAI on a 2007 SE-R be compatible if i put it on my Spec-V? My gut instinct says yes because they are both QR25s but the SE-R Model has 177 hp and Spec-V 200hp so im thinking there might be a problem. Please Help Me Thank You!!

I believe so, I wouldnt see why not, but I dont know

Honestly, I thought there was a minor difference between the two... I could be wrong though.

The ECU may be different but the intake and TB should all be the same.

man sometimes the piping is different diameters between different models of cars.. just call injen..

both car modles have 2 seperate pt numbers and each of those have a diff part number denoting the color of piping. my big guess was possibly different angle of bends at some spots and even maybe slightly different sizing of the piping. I only guess that because supposedly injen rigorously runs tests to optimise power gains, maybe the fact that the SE-R has a smaller base hp to start with, they used different dimensions on their stuff to match it??? i dunno

I though that the only difference between the spec and SE-R was that the engines compression was 10:1 vs i think 9:1 for the SE-R. But I would call Injen...

I would doubt there would be a difference.

Im reasonably sure it will fit.

im not too sure if the ECM in both are in the same locations
and it might interfere with with the trans but im not too sure

I won a used se-r injen intake off of ebay for my 08 spec-v.(for 160) I was skeptical at first but it worked. The only thing I noticed was in following the instructions I had to skip one step. So I have my first mod. By the way I just hit 1001 miles. WOOT

I think it's the compression difference and a different exhaust that makes the extra 25 HP gain for the Spec

i was thinking about this the other day. i wanna say (i could be wrong) that the SE-R vesion of the intake may not have the opening for the PCV box to plug into for vacuum. If you wanted to use the Spec intake on the SE-R and this IS the case, you could just close off the hole and it'll work fine.
