Do we have a clutch delay valve?
Hi,
My best friend just bought a 130i BMW, he removed his CDV because all the bimmer forums recoomend to do it.
At first I didnd know what a CDV was, so I started to google it and I found this:

Some of the CDV effects decribed on that site are very common on my Spec V, so:
Do we hae a CDV?
I dont have jack stands to do it, so I would really appreciate if someone could chek it out for the rest of us.

Beemer have this Mitsubishi and Hyundai...and dont know if other car have but...on the Hyundai and Mitsubishi this is a small plate with a spring who is acting as a restrictor...I just took a look at the manual and it haver something like this:

we have a clutch damper!!! now whats that? seems to be the same thing as this cdc...
anyone got any info on it???
mine "might" be leaking. i lift the car today and i notice that "damper" wet and also around the area.. hmmmm nissan nissan

Must be that recall problem. They said it could possibly leak and yours does. Better hurry up and take it in before it gets worse.
