ok so I have the treadstone kit with the turbonetic evolution wastegate and for some reason I lost the instruction that came with it..like a champ! lol
well anyways now the car runs fine but when it gets into boost it dosent stop climbing untill 14psi+ ( I backed off the gas before blowing something up!). I taught that I would run 8psi off the wastegate spring but obviously someting is wrong here or I just dont have the right spring in it. So can someone tell me what color spring do I wave in it right now and how much psi the gray/white and gray/blue spring are rated for??and if I have to use some of the washers that came with it?
wright now the top part(shiny part) is connected to nothing and the bottom part is connected to the compressor housing.
thnaks for any info.

I don't know about the turbonetics unit, but on my Tial I connect my vacuum line to the fitting on the TOP of the wastegate. U might also wanna try running the other end of your vacuum line to the intake manifold instead of to your compressor housing. I don't think that is what is causing your problem, but I've heard you get a better signal from your IM.

usually the vac line goes into the bottom part and if you dont have a boost controller the top (bottom in this case since the WG is upside down) should just vent to the atmosphere.

ok so it looks like i'm plugged okay. I switched to the white WG spring and the boost dropped to 8-10psi...it should be fine now. thanks alot!

the treadstone kit comes with the 9lb spring in it with no washers so it sould run about 7 or 8 lbs.. and i have my wastegate vaccume line coming out of the bottom (not shiney)
