$14/quart amsoil synthetic for my bike.
$13 for a 5gallon jug of walmart house brand full synthetic for the car

Valvoline Synthetic for the spec.
Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic blend for the civic.
Spec about 3k miles honda closer to 4-5k. It burns some oil so it actually changes itself

Yeah, but the Wal-Mart synthetic comes directly from the vehicles in the service bay. Probably still warm. LOL! I'm still a fan of Mobil 1.
On a side note; did you ship the intake tubing yet? Do you know how much?

I used regular Valvoline dinosaur oil in my Spec. At almost 40k on my motor, the head looked brand new. My opinion is if you are on time with your oil changes dinosaur oil is just fine.

because unlike all the other castrol syntec( 5w-30, etc) the 0w-30 hasEuropean formula stamped on the front and Made in Germany written in small print on the back.
I use this stuff too. wish they still had the green stuff

Up to the 40k mile mark I used a mix of
*conventional*
pennzoil 5w-30
Supertech 5w-30
At the switch over from Conventional to synthetic I used Castrol 5w-30 Synthetic blend.
Since 40k I've been using
Supertech 5w-30 *synthetic*
On every oil change since the changeover I've noticed increased oil consumption. (up to a half a quarter low.) I'm switching back to conventional oil to see what happens.

whatever is on sale at the time... I feel the same way if im doing it every 3k and my motor is not high mileage, so why bother with synthetic... On another note walmarts synthetic is exactly the same as whichever brandname made it (im not sure which company makes it, though) They just sticker it different at the end with walmarts brand. They do this because a. they are still getting to sell it to walmart and b. if they dont walmart wont stock there brandname either which will hurt the oil company alot more than it will ever hurt walmart... The same way with their grocerys.
