i'll be doing it at Boston Dyno, right in the middle of malden. mainly because its close to me. the other one that was recommended to me was dent sport garage.. all the way in worcester.

i got a good deal from doing the core exchange gb (which is now over i think) and dyno testing.. so my price isnt the same as what others would pay, but you can check out the ffp vendor page for price listing or pm bob, ffperformance for more info.

Normal pricing is set at $250 for the pnp and if you want the ceramic coating (helps control heatsoak) it's an extra $90 plus shipping.

i think 10+ whp? maybe 10-15ish.. tests on other cars show gains around there but i dunno about the spec v

Ceramic coat and paint are two different things. But yes the ceramic coat is the black color on the outside.

Oh and just an FYI, I just mailed my manifold out. It weights 13 pounds and cost me $15 UPS from Boston to St Paul, MN

I am all about the bargin hunting on this car. I really dont want to pour money into something that will end up being a commuter. What I've spent mod wise:
rev auto TD: $50 shipped
MMI: $35 shipped
bs cut: free
TBB: free
PNP TB: Free (done by hand, came out great)
nismo catback: Used $250 delivered with 5k miles on it
OBX header: $100
and now the manifold: $93 shipped for a complete manifold, and then another $90 for Porting/polishing/ and ceramic coating

porting and polishing a manifold will cost you 35-40$ in materials easy.

^^ well ffp just ran a gb to collect stock manifolds so they can sell those and there wont be much downtime for the buyer

To answer a few Q's in this thread:

Yes, we do expect ~10whp from the portwork, and yes, in general, PnP has some of the best $/hp you can get ;P (and it's not a bottle that you have to refill either)

The ceramic coatings used on the intakes (yes there are two different ones) help minimize heat soak. The black coating that everyone sees is a thermal dispersant and actually helps pull heat out of the manifold and the second coating is on both sides (on the flanges) of the lower intake manifold to minimize any heat transfer from the head. Again, helping minimize heatsoak. Ive already had a few say that they can actually touch, and hold their hand on the intake manifold after the car has been run hard, unlike before when they could only touch if for a second or so.

Normal pricing for this service (the free pnp for core deal is over) is set at $250 for the porting and $90 for the ceramics. ;P

on a side note, there was a comptech supercharged s2000 at the shop. he showed me a dyno sheet and it was 300whp/177wtq hehe. the owner was cool as hell tho and pretty funny.

well too bad. it started raining this morning before i even got up. if not tomorrow, then the next day would be saturday to install, then monday.

on mine i can rest my hand on the IM and it feels a bit warm but never hot. my ground wires rest on it with no sign of melting or anything. before this was done i could not hold onto the strut bar it was so hot.
