It's all in the Gees
Dynolicious utilizes the accelerometer built in to your iPhone or iPod Touch to sense the motion of your vehicle. This data is sampled as many as one hundred times per second, developing a detailed picture of the car's acceleration. This information is then used to determine the speed of the vehicle and the distance travelled. Due to the unique hardware integrated into the iPhone, this can all be done with no setup, wires, or extra equipment!

OKay just got back from trying this baby out. couldn't exactly do the 0-60 tests on backroads, but the g-meter works the balls. i'm giving this my seal of approval if you have an iphone. I'll be planning on bringing this up to the track for further testing. Stay tuned.

NO, actually the only possiblity you have of the the Iphone working with 3G is through ATT, even if you unlocked with Tmobile you would still be stuck on the slower 2G network, Rumors are going around that T-mobile will have a running 3G Network in October but those are still only rumors...So for now unlocking really make no sense...As you cant use the technology...Hope that helps...

Got this and tried it out today.
I dunno how accurate it is, but it sure is a blast.
The 0-60 times were pretty accurate.
Did a 16 something 1/4 mile. Didn't launch or anything though.
Said I had 180hp. I only have I/H/E/MMI on there right now.
The skidpad is also fun to play with.
Over all definitely worth the 13 bucks.

Okay i wanted to chime in from my weekend experience.
Few things to answer questions before. Allen, yes you can use it with an ipod touch, it's the accelerometers that they use to determine the measurements.
Unlocking an iphone for tmobile is easy. After you've spent a good amount of time. Use Pwnage tool 2.0.2 for that....makes it a snap.
Now for more of the Software. I got to use it Saturday morning on the way to the Dump. This would be my only run, as my lead foot met a steel nail while tearing some lumber apart with my Uncle. I will say this, unlike a real dyno, you only need to redline 3rd gear in this program, also remember that the spec has a 12% drivetrain loss and with a driver will be close to 2850-2900lbs. These measurements need to be accurate in order to have your results be accurate. I had my Drivetrain loss at 20%. i'll redo it with the right numbers later. Also please note I didn't hammer it totally.
Acceleration
0-10 1.39sec
0-20 2.61
0-30 3.88
0-40 5.62
0-50 6.86
0-60 8.60 ( it goes all the way up to 80)
60' 3.21 @ 23.8mph
Max accleration G's 1.31
Peak HP- 188hp
That's with a Tuned engine, TBS, CAI, Header back gutted exhaust, performance plugs and ground wires.
