horrible times last weekend

My friend and I ran down to Gilliam La last weekend to see how we've come.. we were both stock the last time we went.. he has a 2002 civic ex stock i ran a 15.7 and he ran stock a 16.9.

i haven't got alot done, i just have cat back and a gutted cat now but the best i could pull off as of now was a 16.2

even weirder he now has intake headers and cat back and he ran 18s

wtf =[

YAH uhhh, i think your muffler bearing went out, thats why you keep running 17s O_O

Most 18 year olds don't know how to smiley-drive yet, so don't be upset.

Was it really hot and/or humid?  That can kill performance...

Sounds like you are

I went 15.69/88 on kumos in 93 degree humid weather

The start felt like I was on ice

Two suped neons [sr4] were running 14.5/14.6 they were stage two I think [usually run 13's]
A 350z [unknown mods] on drag radials went 14.6

My friends small block? On n2o in a 70's chevelle [has run 12.5, usually 12.8's] 13.3 this night

it had also rained,
track was slippery ,as well as my tires

point of the story
on another drier cooler track day you could run .2-.5 sec faster

And it still went 15.9/86 lol

That was smoking thru third

How did you get 18's?

We could have a slow race for continually spinning sentras
Could be an Olympic event lol

Re: horrible times last weekend

well, i attempted the other 4 gears first... and they didn't wanna grab because 300whp + a flywheel that's hanging off = things just not working.  so i finally did the majority of hte run in 5th!

Re: horrible times last weekend

maybe this will make you feel
better yet
everybody has a bad day
or meets a horrible track, worse yet ,on a bad day

the car in the left lane in the following time slip
is a GTO, that would if i met him at atl dragway
turn 12.8s
his car ran fine
he is a very experienced driver note his rt

it was just drag racing on marbles on a motorcross track

http://yogi_b.myspecv.com/GAMMA%20ENHANCED%20RESIZE.jpg

he was helping me develop our new olympic event
the drifting drags
he was sideways at the end of the track and still doing 76mph

we both had kumo ast's
