Well i haven't had the chance to push the set up to the limits yet, but i did get to drive the car around today. drove around a rotary at speeds where if it was the stock suspension, i would have experienced body roll, but today i had none! also noticed that i have better control taking hard turns and stuff now.

The NISMO's have great ride height. I like them even little better than my pro-kits.
It really helps that the rear is little higher with the NISMO's, with my pro-kits the car is pretty much the same in front & rear.
I'm starting to dislike my hood spacers too, I'm not too crazy about that look. Time for an EVO C/F hood and winning the lottery...

unfortunately, when i took off the hood spacers, TWO of them snapped my hood bolts due to rust.
fortunately, it was 1 snapped bolt on each side of the hood...

haha yea too bad. im already spoiling it with all these other goodies. at this point its either an 02 front end or cf hood. but not till later. two bolts will hold the hood down juuust fine.

If you are going FI the 04-06 front is better. Bigger grills, more airflow.

current goodies do not include an f/i kit lol (i wish). i mainly want the 02 because i like the racing solutions lip for it. ill prob keep the 04 if the 04 lip looks good.

I think that the 04-06 front end with NISMO lip looks the best IMHO...
Too bad its expensive.

It's not a huge drop, but it rides nice. 0.6" for the rear and 0.8" in the front. I have this set up with the Nismo front and rear sway bars and had a chance to really test it out on some twisties. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
illestfob - looks nice bro!

Offline

i bought it used off this forum. but if you want the cheapest brand new, i think some vendor is selling teh suspension at $710 shipped. and a dealer on ebay is selling the rsb at $210 shipped. didnt look at the fsb tho. better grab them soon before they are sold out cause nismo b15 parts are being discontinued or something

Norberto

did you do the brushings as well. I can't find anyone that will put mine in for me. The dealer told me the nissan brushins are exact same as stock in the Dog Bone part of the SRL and they just sell them to make money from guys like me. He said he would be waisting his and my time doing it. I'd do it my damn self, but I don't have a hydrolic press and cant find one anywhere. your car looks great by the way.

nope no nismo bushings on my car. You can always do it at a dealership..

damn, your stock height is as low as mine is after i installed the nismo kit...i think i got a special edition spec, monster truck version or something

That looks extremely sharp. I'm still debating whether I want to go with the Tein SS or the Nismo setup.

Im not sure if the new bushings need to be pressed in but you can burn out old bushings. Its dirty and it stinks but thats now I helped my buddy change some bushings on his altima and the new ones just pop in.
Or find a regular mechanic, stealer is gay unless you blow your engine on warranty
thats the only time I took my car there was to get my new engine for free
