TURBO KIT!!!!
yup yup yup!
be one of the first and receive a very nice $1000 off discount, here are the details of what it will contain:
We can get the first 5 kits presold @ $4,000 each, which is a killer deal considering it will be a full ceramic coated, tig welded kit with an equal length manifold.
50% down will land you this spot, you can pay all upfront, or half now/half later kind of deal (i understand money is tough right now so im trying to help you guys out)
HERE ARE THE COMPONENTS!!!!
1. brand name T3/T04 turbo,
2. Tig welded stainless Turbo Manifold (equal length, not shitty log type)
3. brand name intercooler
4. Tig welded components and piping all ceramic coated
5. Stainless steel lines and fitting
6. Walbro fuel pump
7. Name brand wastegate/blow off valve
8. Name brand injectors (RC )
9. Down pipe (we will have a 2.5inch option, but we are trying to fit a 3 inch downpipe... kinda a tight squeeze)
10. Tuning will be either Unichip (for bolt on and go) or SAFC II (for the tuners out there
)
system will be complete!
Kit output will be capable of +100 HP or up to 300HP at approximately 7-8psi.
I understand most people will not want to spend there money without seeing the kit itself running and dyno charts and all of that.
Let me assure you if you do take this plunge and the introductory discount, you will not be let down.
The development of this kit is not only backed by me (rakonismo) and Gavin and API Motorsports, but it will also be shown at SEMA this year.
So it is what it is guys,
email: gavin@apimotoring.com if interested in this killer deal.

As always, thanks for your hard work. I'll be supporting the NA developments for the time being. My wallet won't stretch wide enough for this, heh. It'll probably be another year before I can go this route. I hope this is well supported though. I admire everyone who can afford to go this route now.

that kit sounds BADASS. equal length header, all ceramic coated, and the mishimoto black intercooler is hot. i was eyeing that piece when i had a f/i kit on hand. the only time i wish i owned a b16 lol.

1. Turbonetics T3/T04 turbo, there will also be a gtk 350 option if you would like to pay more.
2. Tig welded stainless Turbo Manifold (equal length, not shitty log type) Log manifolds aren't shitty
3. Mishimoto intercooler (get the black... it looks bitchin)
4. Tig welded components and piping all ceramic coated
5. Stainless steel lines and fitting
6. Walbro fuel pump
7. Name brand wastegate/blow off valve (we will have a few options for you guys, but we do recommend you go with turbosmart) - I recommend Tial for both the BOV and Wastegate, Greddy(bov), or HKS(bov). I would not recommend turbosmart.![]()
8. Name brand injectors (RC or Accel or Motron)
9. Down pipe (we will have a 2.5inch option, but we are trying to fit a 3 inch downpipe... kinda a tight squeeze)

of course with more boost, full engine blue print, and the gtk option, the sky is the limit pretty much

Mishimoto

AND
Fox Marketing

Other then those minor issues i think you finally got it together enough to pull this off

oh ya cant forget about synapse eng.
your right allen, but its x10 more money for a well done equal length mani and most of the time a nice log style manifold (protechs for example) flows just as well.

There was a good post/something in the chatbox about shorty manifolds vs. equal length. dunno where it was...
either way, for 99.99% of owners, there is no need for an equal length.

but not everyone has a use for a E/L manifold sir.
just cuz it looks cool, doesnt mean you have a use for it.
Do you even know how a E/L manifold works or why they are used? Prolly not
Have a Nice day.

Are they going to provide an awesome warranty for cracks? Equal lengths notariously crack more than shorty's.
And no Preston, that was not the right post. I think it might've been in the chatbox...

Isn't EL mani's made to actually compiment the exhaust pulse order from each cylinder 1 after the other for better more even flow? I'd honestly be down for that. I'm just upset that this turbo option came at the worst financial time on years for me. If it wasn't an issue, I'd be no.1 to buy the kit.

well if it helps you guys can do 2-3 payments... and the last payment we ship the kit.
im just trying to help out everyone.

trust me man, you are doing a GREAT JOB helping everyone out, we cannot thank you enough for your hard work and determination on getting us some after market support. But I just dont think I can get the turbo kit, all the extras like catback, mmi, gauges, tuning, installation, new tires(mine wouldnt last), clutch eventually, more gas. and I dont work while im up at college so I would be draining my funds. But the good thing is I will have my car payed off next summer, which is only 2 years after I bought it, so I am very happy about that and then I can possibly do it after that. But THANKS again for all your work for the B16, it is very appreciated.

x2
its cool that its equal length but you guys should have like an upgrade option and normally provide a log style. Most the owners will benefit from the faster spool and easy maintenance of a log style compared to the E/L. Dont get me wrong the E/L is "superior" but only when you are doing a high HP build with internals and what not. The E/L will ALLOW more HP if the mods are there, spool up will suffer without the supporting mods and the slightest imperfection could cause the mani to crack and break. Because of there design there is alot more weight and heat.

Put me down as #1 for a manifold/downpipe combo. Are you guys gona use an intercooler with the inlet and outlet on the same side?
Online

we are gonna use mishimotos, so sadly, no in/out same side.
we will sell the intercooler kits tho to pair with the el manifold and all that good stuff

Not to throw a monkey wrench in here.. but, shouldn't this company first develop/test a kit, before taking orders? Didn't we learn anything with WRP?
Again.. not trying to be negative.. but, why would you throw thousands of dollars at a company that doesn't even have a product out yet?

well w/ what i have learned from wrx's is that equal length headers create quicker spooling turbo's (maybe for just wrx's but thats what they say)... but if u get equal length on wrx u lose boxer sound so almost no1 gets it lol

I still cant decide whether to get rid of the spec and get an STI or just keep the spec and turbo it. Its a year old, but will be paid off in 4 months. With a couple of turbo options coming, its making my decision harder =P
Offline

Ryan aka Marve

stick with the spec... you know you wanna.

still in process of being built.
i cant wait to have my kit on and finished.
had to pay up for you guys to have one, but man is it gonna be a bitchin kit.

so anyone have a date for this turbo yet?

well mine has a certain deadline, which i will mention more later.
you would be suprised how much is actually done, and how much potential there is with this platform.
i would love to see a bunch of these cars on this forum turboed.

So many negative nelly's on here. I ordered my turbo manifold. Should be done within a couple weeks. Turbo 08 is coming soon to a highway near you.
Online

Not really nagative.. I just think that it's crazy for a company to take orders for a product that doesn't exist, and has never been tested. I've been there/done that, and I know what kind of stuff can happen when a company does this. Why not build/test the kit, and then offer it to the public?
