tunning with a nismo fuel pressur regulator over a s-afc
a nissan tech advised me to jus buy a nismo fuel pressure regulator and would be able to tune the car only by adjusting fuel pressure, since are cars do run a bit rich. would this be a better idea over an afc which run about double the price and i dont care for a useless display item

not with our fuel systems.
our fuel systems cannot use a fuel pressure regulator because they are returnless, and the fpr is already present in the fuel pump canister inside the gas tank.
besides, the ecu will correct for the higher fuel pressure on its own.
don't listen to nissan techs who claim outrageous stuff pls.

MegaSquirt-I standalone - unit #0 (fuel only mode), gsquirt board v1.0, Pivot 3 Drive Throttle Controller,
J&S UltraSafeguard individual cylinder knock suppression system, Autosport Wiring Engine Harness
660cc msd injectors, 255 walbro fuel pump, JGY fuel rail, t3/t4 57trim, Coolingmist Varicool Progressive Alky controller,
Shurtank with 150psi alky pump.

o and one thing i forgot to mention hes only worked on FR nissans so yea that explains it sorry guys delete this fukin topic
