Question about Tanabe DF210

I recently installed Tanabe DF210 on my SER...howeva i notice the front springs look like got too compressed there are no space in between the coils...i wonder is this installed correctly or not? Here are the pix

there is another post on this exact topic.  The other guy said he called tanabe and they said its normal. 

Is there no gap between any of the coils, or just some of the coils?
