DEI CryO2 cooling stystem?

Anyone using or know anyone that is using Desin Engineering CryO2 System?
http://www.designengineering.com/produc … &cid=1

I live in Arizona with high temps, sometimes getting up to 115 degrees and high elevation 5000+ feet.  I think this may be beneficial to me.  I am thinking about gettiing the whole kit with all the accessories.

I also have a 12psi RevAuto Supercharger kit.

Those who know more, what to you guys think?
Would it be compatable with methonol/water injection?

Re: DEI CryO2 cooling stystem?

There is a Z in Lexington making 1000+ HP and runs NX's version of this (just the intercooler sprayer I believe is all they have though).  They're also at thirty-odd some pounds of boost as well though.

Re: DEI CryO2 cooling stystem?

i think it would be more cost efficient to just find some fans to mount to the back of the intercooler to pull more air through rather than having to refill a bottle every so often.

Re: DEI CryO2 cooling stystem?

CO2 is way easy to get and cheep, I have a powertank tank at home  http://www.powertank.com/ that I use for off roading and I can run my airtools off of it if I come across a tight bolt so refilling wont be an issue.

I do like the purge feature.  Any other opinions?

Re: DEI CryO2 cooling stystem?

nitrous sprayer on the intercooler is one of the best mods you can do IMO.  i made 20 extra WHP just by using the intercooler sprayer.  i dont know if C02 would have the same gains, but the nitrous sure does work

It's one and the same, even Nitrogen would work, it's just a cold gas that cooler the intercooler.

There are many names for this, cryo kit, intercooler chiller kit, intercooler spray bar.

Re: DEI CryO2 cooling stystem?

n your elevations what's to lose. I love it and i've noticed power gains with the intercooler Sprayer. I wouldn't advise spraying while driving 50+ mph. There is a such thing as airlocking your motor! But def. Do it!

Re: DEI CryO2 cooling stystem?

Its not just an intercooler sprayer you can shoot into the intake manifold also which is benificial to help cool the rngine its definetly worth I plan on this kit for my turbo build as well. Keep me posted if you get it bro thanks and good luck.
