Re: wheel hop

I have a 4 point LTB and motor mount inserts. I don't get much wheel hop. Mostly all spin, since the recent LTB install.

LTB + ESMMI + TQ dampener and you will have all spin. I'm not going to get the dampener, though.

Re: wheel hop

Raise the rpm you launch at. I was launching at 2500 and would wheel hop real bad. I tried at 3500 and have zero wheel hop. It bog's a little though. Next time I go to the track i'm going to try 4000.

Re: wheel hop

I usually launch at around 2K and drop it from there i rarely get wheel hop, but it depends on where i do this at.  the track and the street are completely different.  next time i go to the track I will try launching higher.  i can beat mid 14 second cars on teh street but have only been able to pull off a 15 flat at the track.  just play with it and see how it works best.

All you're going to do is spin and hop if yo launch at 4k. Work on lower RPM launches. If you're dropping the clutch at 4k and you're not eating your tires alive, there is something wrong with your car.

Re: wheel hop

yall could probably still use the $4 Wheel hop aid, RevAuto should be able to make a nice engine damper easily, and maybe travis will make some of his new MMI's for b16s

Re: wheel hop

Look at the engine lol what do you think that massive mount is? It's the exact same function that the revauto does.

I plan on the 4$ wheel hop aid soon, and I would freaking love new MMI's.

I called energy suspension back in march i believe and they said they would definitely be interested in mmis and bushings and whatever wo could want that they do.  they said the problem is that they already have a lot of other projects in the way regardless of interest... projects like the new tibby's, the new camaro, and a few others.  they said give them a call back in mid summer, i have and haven't been able to get a hold of them and lately I've just been forgetting to call back from how busy I've been.  keep calling them Rako, if i remember i will be calling them again tomorrow, we need others to call too.
