Honestly with having 6th gear, i'd be surprised if they don't get similar highway mileage.

my se-r gets 42 mpg, more than the gxe. Just tune your car and it'll give you great mpg.

if you truly want a beater, get a nice b13 se-r. and then eventually, like your spec, you can mod that too lol

A B13, at it's newest, is a 14 year old car...

1.8 will probably be a great DD/beater, or if you wanted a bit more power, get an SE-R.  But what's nice about a B15 is you can steal and borrow parts from it!  smiley-laugh

Re: Tricked out the SpecV, thinking of getting a 1.8 for a beater. MPG's?

I need something cheep with good gas.  I am going back to school next year and will be in for 2 years.  If I wasn't going back to school, I would just pick up a Lexus GS400h.  My SpecV is for fun, and I don't want to use it as a daily driver.  I put to much into it to have it fuck with on the road and while it sits in parking lots
