Weapon R intake?

Im new to the tuner scene but i have read about there being a problem with the injen cai and puddles/rain because of where it is located. Being that i live down a road that often gets a large puddle after it rains should i just get the weapon r intake or will i be o.k. with the injen? Also i know the injen is a good choice but is the weapon r?

Re: Weapon R intake?

Some people are scared about the injen intake and puddles/rain but everyone that actually has them have had no problems at all.

Re: Weapon R intake?

I have no problems w/ the weapon r. I never have tightened the clamps after puting it on nor has my check engine light come on. I attached the "ram air" hose to it and directed it to my wheel well and have not had any problems.

Re: Weapon R intake?

I've had the injen since mid february and it rains like a mofo here pretty often.  never had an issue.  just depends on how big this puddle is.  unless it's deep enough to cover up your foglights while you're driving through it, then there's really no issue.

Re: Weapon R intake?

it not a honda it sits closer to the middle of the road so you tend to mis the deep part of the puddle anyway

Re: Weapon R intake?
