Continenntal tires contisport contact2 discontinued

Still havn't sold the spec (just going to trade it in)  and I get a huge screw in the tire right next to the side wall.  It can't be plugged and the contisport contact2's are discontinued and contisport3's are $240 a piece from firestone.  To make a long story short tire rack.com has sport contact2's for $160 a piece (3's for$180) so don't get ripped if you have a similar problem.  My tires only have 4000 miles so I didn't replace them all.

Re: Continenntal tires contisport contact2 discontinued

Funny you say this, because I bought my car exactly a year and a half ago, had rims on it for 5 or 6 months of that year and a half, and I took my car to nissan to fix a quick issue, and they told me that my tire tread is below inspection, I asked which tires, because front two would be understandable seeing that our cars are fwd, but he said all for are about the same, theres 21k miles on the car, and now the tread is below INSPECTION APPROVAL, what kind of tires would wear out that fast? Am I just going crazy?
