To me, it looks like it was built by a 4 year old. It pretty much looks like the electronics were just placed in there and filled with some black filler. Look at the wires, no connector or anything. Just protruding through the plastic.
And the switches, not lined up, same with the LCD screen.
-20 for build quality.

I agree, plus you can get a Zex window switch for about the same price that does all of that only it doesnt have integrated wot switch but really by the looks of the quality I wouldnt trust the wot switch in that box anyway.

i hooked it to the injector signal wire. Mine sprays fine. Super easy to set the parameters. it has a digital display idk if it is the one that you are talking about though.
that is it in my bin.

^ dam wutta badass place for some gauges. ive had my msd one sitting under my dash for a while and never been able to figure it out it jus never worked with my zex box

i had the dynotune window switch on my progressively controlled 100 shot direct port. i recommend getting one if you havent already, its got a traction control feature and all the settings were fairly easy to adjust.

that's the window switch to get when i was still on the bottle the msd digital rpm window switch was my savior.

the msd will work with any setup you just have to wire it into the ground on the noids and you'll be fine.
