Not to bash but it will eventually unless they did R and D on it. But it looks to be a complete copy of the B&M one which broke 3 cables for me and eventually broke the extension that comes off the ball. But to each his own.

I completely agree with what this guy says. Looks exactly like a B&M knock-off. If it doesn't break the cables, which mine never did, the aluminum arm that comes off the pivot ball will eventually snap off. I can take pics if anybody cares to see. It is a pain to then try to get that replaced too, basically you will need a new shifter housing.

No, there is worries because it won't fit an '06. This has already been discussed in the other thread. Same thing goes for other companies. '06s are different than the previous years.

At the top it lists all the years except for the '06. At the bottom it lists all of the years including '06

A shifter for a '05 or previous years will not work for an '06.

The reply from another company that I asked about

The shifter cable "eye" on the Spec V is actually different on the 2006 compared to the earlier Spec V's. This difference actually makes our adapter not compatible with the 2006 and up Spec V.

I have the b&m ss, and it looks exactly like the same, I don't know if it makes a difference but I might get a stock shift assembly.. I have a ss and it feels hecka thick, I need to use a lot of strength just to shift gears.

Hmm, ok so do you think a ss is a good mod? Is the stock shifter just as good as a ss for the spec v? Everyone please add comments
